The Legend of Spottee
Description:
Legend has it that Spottee was a foreign sailor washed up on the coast of Roker in the 18th century. Worried locals avoided him and spread tales of his evil, Spottee resided in a cave in the Ravine of Roker Park. I created this model out of clay, tissue paper, hessian, acrylic paint and artificial hair and photographed him at the entrance to his cave.
